DIRECTIONS TO THE CONNEMARA LOOP
Make your way from major ports or airports to Galway city or from Ireland West International Airport at Knock towards Leenane.
From Galway City take the N59 west from Galway towards Clifden, through Moycullen, Oughterard and you will arrive at the first part of the Connemara Loop at Maam Cross.
You can also travel from Galway via Cong in Co. Mayo and the point you start the Connemara Loop is at Maam.
From Clifden, take the N59 to Westport and you will join the Connemara Loop at Letterfrack.
