The Teach Ceoil operates as a centre for the Traditional Arts with classes in Irish Music and Dancing taking place during the Winter and Spring. Seisiun, a programme of Irish traditional music, song and dance featuring the cream of Irish musicians, singers and dancers from the Connemara area is presented on each Tuesday night during July and August at 9pm. This program has proved to be extremely popular during the past 30 years and if you would like to experience a taste of the real Ireland in a country kitchen setting the advice is to get there early otherwise you might not be able to get in.
